My Story
I’ve been in the mortgage and finance world for seven years now, and I’ll be honest – it wasn’t always this rewarding. I started my career at a traditional bank, and while I learned a lot during those first four years, I found myself constantly frustrated. You see, banks only have one mortgage product to offer, and too many times I had to be the bearer of bad news when great people didn’t fit into that one-size-fits-all box. Those conversations were tough, and I knew there had to be a better way.
That’s what led me to become a mortgage broker. What a game-changer! Instead of being limited to one lender’s rules, I now work with over 50 different lenders. This means my focus is 100% on you – finding the right solution for your unique situation, not trying to make you fit into a bank’s narrow criteria.
What I Love Most
There’s nothing quite like helping first-time home buyers get the keys to their very first place. The excitement, the nervousness, the joy when everything comes together – I get to be part of that journey, and it never gets old. I also really enjoy working on refinances where I can help improve someone’s cash flow and set them up for future financial success. It’s incredibly satisfying to show clients how the right mortgage strategy can free up money for the things that matter most to them.

Here’s what you can expect when we work together: I have a specific step-by-step process that keeps you in the loop throughout the entire journey. No surprises, no wondering what’s happening next. I treat your mortgage with the urgency it deserves because I know this is huge for you and your family. And here’s something that might surprise you – I don’t really have “business hours.” If you need me evenings or weekends, I’m here. That’s just how I operate.
A Bit About Me
I’m a proud Brantford guy – born and raised right here in this great city. I’ve been involved with Rotary in the past and I’m currently a season ticket holder and sponsor of our Brantford Bulldogs. There’s something special about supporting local hockey and watching these young athletes develop.
When I’m not talking mortgages, I enjoy nothing better than hanging out with my five kids and their partners, or spoiling my grandchild – with another grandkid on the way! My wife and I love camping, and when I can I like playing golf and pickleball. Fair warning: I’m a diehard Leafs fan (don’t judge!), love the Blue Jays, and somehow ended up cheering for the Buffalo Bills. Most weekends you’ll find us hanging out with our friend group – many of whom I’ve known since high school here in Brantford.
Before mortgages, I spent years managing in the print industry and worked in automotive business operations, so I understand what good customer service looks like from all angles.
